The Sant Joan is a family-run hotel set in the heart of Catalonia’s beautiful Costa Brava, surrounded by gardens and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.Housed in a renovated, 18th-century traditional cottage building, this small hotel is located just 900 metres from the beach in the historic area of Sant Joan de Palamós. Take in the tranquil surroundings from the hotel’s jacuzzi or in the 550 m² gardens which surround the swimming pool (heated between April and October). In Palamós there are beaches, the Fish Museum, Fish auction and the Port with a wide range of activities. Girona with its Jewish quarter is 45 km away and Figueres (60 km) with Dalí's Museum. The Medieval villages of Pals and Peratallada are 18 km. At Empúries (40 km) there are Greek and Roman settlement ruins.
From Barcelona (120 km): - Leave the AP-7 motorway at exit 9A (St Feliu de Guixols-Palamós).- This road is the C-35 which leads onto the C-65 and then onto the C-31. - Once on the C-31, take the Palamós exit.From Girona Airport (35 km):- Once you leave the airport, take the road towards Cassà de la Selva. - Next take the C-65 (towards Platja d'Aro-Palamós). - This road then leads onto the C-65.- From there follow the above directions.From the French border (110 km):- Leave the AP-7 motorway at exit 6 and follow the directions to La Bisbal- Plamós (on the C-31).Parking:The hotel has a free outdoor car park with spaces for 10 cars.
To reach the reception you can either take the stairs by the main entrance or if you have heavy suitcases you can use the entrance located at the rear of the hotel.
